The Adkins

We hired DJ Coldkrush mobile DJ service for our first annual event. I could not have been more pleased with the way he handled such a difficult task. Before the event, we called multiple times to plan, and he was always available to discuss needs and make changes. He arrived on time and set up in a good area. Even a couple of short rainfall did not affect our event. Everyone knew where the photo booth was located and had help with that as well when needed. The music selection was on point. Everyone enjoyed and danced despite having such a diverse crowd. We had about a hundred people young, old children, married,  single, religious, drinkers, black, white, professional, and retired. DJ Coldkrush managed to please everyone and did not receive a single complaint. We will be using him for all our future events. As a good DJ can make or break a gathering this was an easy 5-star review.

(1) How was the communication leading up to the event?

The communication was perfect. When we initially requested DJ ColdKrush, he touched bases with us about every 2-3 weeks up until about 2 months before the wedding. At that time we kept in contact weekly. He also scheduled a time for us to meet him in person a few weeks prior to the event. This made us feel comfortable and confident in his ability. He is relatable, easy to talk to, and even made us laugh a few times!

 

(2) Was the DJ on time?

The DJ planned ahead and made sure we had no concerns as he was completely set up before the guests arrived. We even had a chance to go over last minute items before the event.

This made me feel at ease!  

 

(3) Was the DJ setup and service at the event professional?

The DJ’s setup was phenomenal. His music booth was classy, and colorful at the same time. His lighting was perfect, it fit the mood, and the volume of the music couldn’t have been any more perfect. Can’t forget the Photo Booth! Instant hit with all of our guests and family. 

 

(4) Was the music selection good or bad?

The music selection that the DJ used to fill in the gaps, that I myself couldn’t provide, was better than expected. I even made multiple stops at his booth during the event to let him know how great of a job he was doing. Our guests loves every song! 

 

(5) What is your overall comment/ Suggestions?

Overall I couldn’t come up with a complaint if I tried. It ended up raining during the event, and even then, he was still prepared. He went above and beyond our expectations. My wife absolutely adored his hard work and attention to detail. Even the night before the event, he was still responsive and changed a few of our songs! I would recommend this DJ to any family or friends I can. He is a 10/10, no doubt!                          March 18, 2023
